Our story

Missed Call Help AI started with a frustration. Our founder's father runs a plumbing business in Greater Manchester. On a typical Tuesday, he'd come home and find 8 missed calls — most from voicemails that had hung up. Some were emergencies. Some were £3,000 boiler installs. All of them had already called a competitor by the time he heard the message.

Hiring a receptionist would have cost £30,000 a year. Outsourced answering services charged 50p per minute and didn't know the difference between a leaking radiator and a flooded kitchen. The maths just didn't work for a one-man business.

In 2025, AI voice models finally got good enough that you couldn't tell the difference. We built the first version in three weekends, plugged it into Dad's phone, and watched him book three jobs the first day that he'd otherwise have lost. That was the moment.
